I’m trying to save a bit more money for university, so I’ve been going through my stuff to find things to sell. Since I know that there’s quite a few Tales fans on tumblr, I thought I’d give everyone here a chance before listing these on eBay! Just send me a message if you’re interested and we’ll work out the details!

Tales of the Abyss art book - $20 total (this includes the shipping)
Mint condition, 77 pages in full color (aside from the sketches, silhouettes, and text). 10-20 includes character models and written “impressions,” 26-42 show the creation process for each character, 46-57 are chibi illustrations, and the remaining pages are an interview in which he discusses the creation process. There are a couple of bonus images scattered about. All text is in Japanese.

Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 3 - $20 total (same as above)
Near-mint, comes with the manual and other papers. For the GBA. It’s in Japanese, but it’s region free, so it will play on any GBA. Even if you don’t know much Japanese, it’s pretty easy to navigate, and it’s a fun little game. It’s RPG style and includes the main casts of every pre-Abyss tales game. The battle system is real-time, and the two protagonists are able to use different classes. You are also able to use some of the other Tales characters, if not all. (I’m having a little difficulty remembering, it’s been years.)

Here are some extra photos:

I think the neat thing about getting into harry potter waaay late in the game is getting to think up character appearances without being influenced by the movies

Sorry to post old art like this, but I searched through my files and found this picture I drew for Mother 3’s third anniversary back in 2009! I’ve been having some intense emotions about this series again lately, so I’ll probably end up revisiting it before long :’)

Two pages from my Hansel and Gretel project, sans dialogue/text. I was really excited to work on this, but I wish I’d had time to expand on the story a bit more!

Found this poor little babe struggling while I was on my way to class, so I took it with me and kept it safe for a few hours while its wings dried. It seemed really happy to be back outside! :’)

rinatan:

My rat Arpe died this morning during a vet visit. I don’t really feel like drawing anything right now, so here’s something I drew back when I first got them. She was super sweet and a great pal, and I’m just really gonna miss her a whole lot.

I just got the call that the second of my first rat pair died the day before yesterday. Her name was Capri, short for Capriccio, and she’s the black one pictured here. She got sick pretty suddenly, and even though we took her to the vet immediately, the antibiotics just didn’t work for whatever reason. According to my mom and sister, she wasn’t making any distress sounds, so she wasn’t in pain, and she actually seemed to be feeling well after the visit. She apparently just sort of went to sleep while my sister was petting her and didn’t wake up. I’m really, really glad that she was only sick for about a day and didn’t suffer.Bringing these two home was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and even though I’m terribly sad now that they’re gone, I don’t regret it. I’m glad they were able to live out happy lives and that I was able to enjoy their company for so long.
